Mr. Tran Duy Hung- CEO of Monitor Consulting, delivered a presentation on Land Value Capture (LVC) and Financing and participated in the expert panel discussion at the Workshop on the Technical Guideline Handbook for Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) held in Ho Chi Minh City on 31 March 2026.
Mr. Hung is also the author of the Handbook's chapter on Land Value Capture and Financing, which provides a practical framework for integrating financing strategies into TOD planning and implementation.
This contribution marks an important step towards helping Ho Chi Minh City move from TOD concepts to implementation by linking urban planning with sustainable financing from the outset. It also supports the development of innovative funding mechanisms to accelerate metro investment while creating more integrated, livable, and economically vibrant urban communities.
The workshop reflects Monitor Consulting's ongoing commitment to advancing innovative infrastructure financing and sustainable urban development in Vietnam through practical, policy-driven solutions.
