Monitor Consulting in collaboration with KPMG was engaged by the World Bank to conduct a study on "the implementation of health PPPs in Vietnam". Key study findings of recommendations have been presented on a high-level consultative workshop on 24 July with about 100 participants from Ministry of Health, local Departments of Health, public hospitals, healthcare investors and providers, academia, NGOs, etc.

The consortium of KPMG and Monitor Consulting is awarded a contract by Public -Private Partnership Support Program (P3SP) - Ministry of Planning & Investment to screen and appraise a list of potential PPP projects and conduct PPP trainings at the foundation and advance level for government agencies and local provinces in Vietnam.

Hanoi 30th November- 1st December 2017, Mr.Hung Tran - CEO of Monitor Consulting presented PPP to implement railway infrastructure in Vietnam and joined the panel discussion with industry experts in the Summit.

Mr.Hung Tran - CEO of Monitor Consulting presented as a keynote speaker at Transport Outlook Vietnam 2017 Conference held in HCMC on 22-23 May, 2017.

From 1-3 December 2016, under European Union-Health Facility Program, Mr.Hung Tran – CEO of Monitor Consulting has delivered 2 day-training program on PPP in health sector for the Ministry of Health, provincial departments of Health and leading local public hospitals. He also supports the Ministry of Health on appraising and preparing potential PPP healthcare projects.

September 2015: A joint- venture between KPMG Services Pte.Ltd (Singapore), KPMG Vietnam Ltd and Monitor Consulting has been selected as a consulting firm of Vietnam's PPP advisory and transaction panel.

From March -June 2015: Under DFID-funded PPP support program to Vietnam, Mr.Hung Tran - CEO of Monitor Consulting has delivered a series of PPP capacity building trainings in multiple locations across Vietnam to PPP office in MPI and local governments.

The Ministry of Planning and Investment of the Government of Vietnam leads an official delegation of high ranking government leaders, including 4 Vice Ministers from the Ministries of Planning and Investment, Transport, Finance and Construction, on a study mission to visit  and meet with Public Private Partnership (PPP) regulators, promoters, investors, operators and other stakeholders in Toronto and Montreal.
